Book-Revinew-Music

There are a zillion reasons why Vans Warped Touring Festival has become the greatest of all times. Out of all the reasons, the most predominant one is their insistent tendency to 'stay ahead of the curve' which in turn.

Despite the fact that the main focus of the Vans Warped Tour happens to be on putting up great music for the people, but raising concern about environment issues has also been an equally important priority for them.

With over 100 bands performing live each day on the Vans Warped Tour, it takes a colossal task to plan and execute properly, so that things are up and running. Who are the real heroes behind the success of the grand festival.

Employees' Perspective: Although the employees at the Vans Warped Tour work really hard to make it run as a great show, but once it is up there and happening,

The New Best of James Taylor for Guitar: Easy TAB Deluxe' is a highly accurate transcription of some of the best songs recorded by the artist. It is notated with a guitar 'TAB' and also features complete lyrics for every track.

Like Glenn's other book - Bass Lessons With The Greats - this book is also out of print. Although it is not as good as Bass Lessons With The Greats it still has lots of useful information in.

Because these songs relied heavily on sections built upon grooves that then repeated, the transcriptions are not always presented as 'whole' songs. Instead you might get say the intro, the verse, the chorus and the bridge.

I'm a great fan of people learning how to play bass to learn some basic technique and acquire some basic fingerboard knowledge and then apply that to some real world songs.

For those bass players who want to play rock, and especially those of intermediate standard who want to push their playing on, a great book they can use is Play Bass With Muse.

It depicts a story of staying true to yourself, staying true to your dreams, not losing hope and to do things not for the sake of doing it but for the love it.

Enough about my metal fairy tale and lets check this book out. Since the orientation of this book is quite academic, the read was quite deep, hectic and more often than not,

The story telling was light; it gave a good bird's eye view of the cock rock scene back in the early 80's; the book was a fun read nonetheless but it could have been better though. Besides the lack of depth, the book was also in short of photos.

This is not actually a book, but more of a collection of entries from Nikki Sixx's 1987 diary with additional commentaries by various people who were mentioned in his entries.

As the name suggests, this book contains a number of songs complete with chords, which can be played on the acoustic guitar.

This is a review of the book 'The Funkmasters' by Allan Slutsky and Chuck Silverman.Standing In The Shadows was originally published in my preferred format with spiral binding.
